I also found that my video was not inherently interactive, it was actually hard to find one that was! I think it seemed to be more common for videos to be designed to encourage interaction with the viewers, if anything, as you mentioned. I agree that it would be good to have activities throughout the video to allow for thinking, processing, and engagment with the material; its something I suggested for my video as well. I like the activities you thought of to have at pause points of the video, they seem great and super creative! Students would have fun for sure. Thank you for your blog post, I enjoyed reading it and about ways the video interaction could be better designed for students.
